For its size Cadaques has a rich selection of shops to choose from, particularly when it comes to clothing. Perhaps not surprising really when you consider that the village has a style all of its own: a mix of Mediterranean hippy and Catalan ‘Payés', with a touch of French elegance thrown in for good measure. If you are looking for something a little different it's also worth checking out the tiny stores selling the work of artisans, from traditional Catalan wicker baskets to jewellery and pottery items.
